Description: A lush fleshy rhizomatous hardy perennial, with opposite leaves on one plane and clusters of small cream spotted purple flowers that resemble tiny orchids.  

Though a shade loving perennial, it will happily tolerate sun if there is enough moisture. They prefer a humus rich soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soil types, even clay.  They form a lovely ground cover before it's late summer to autumn flowering over many weeks.

Notes on Cutting: This beauty was given to me years ago and is one of my favorite cut flowers. I love it’s exquisitely dainty and airy blooms, that beautifully offset heavier blooms, and never fails to be commented on with its delicate and unique form - and it’s spots! Cut in the cool of the day and hydrate well.
