A lovely tall perennial for a cool cottage garden spot or woodland border - prefers moist well drained soil in partial or dappled shade. Tall plumes of fluffy lilac blooms, over lovely grey green aquilegia like foliage add a delicate waft to a border. (Please note these are seed grown so may have variation in colour - most likely lilac but could also be white.)
 
Notes on cutting
 
Cut flowers in the cool of the day, when just beginning to open, and condition well for longest vase life.  Lovely in wildflower arrangements, but also a great foil to more modern structural arrangements, especially when high and/or en masse.
