Drawing on over a decade of experience growing cut flowers at Maytrees Garden Dunedin, I’ll share the perennial plants that have earned their place in my own cutting garden, along with practical advice on where to grow them, what they need, and how to get the most from them as cut flowers.

We’ll look at the benefits of growing perennials, including their reliability, longevity and ability to provide flowers year after year, as well as some of the challenges to consider when choosing plants for your garden.

Whether you’re just starting out or already have a garden and want to grow more flowers for cutting, you’ll come away with ideas and inspiration for creating a productive perennial cutting garden of your own.
