Planting Use: Herbaceous borders, cottage gardens and a cut flower.
 
Description: Lance shaped leaves in whorls around the tall stems at intervals and terminating in many jaunty and dainty downward facing blooms, with recurved speckled petals.  Their flower colour can vary from white, to peachy to pink.  They can be slow to establish and take time to flower, but if you are patient and they have ideal conditions they can form long lived groups that give a stunning display.  Mulching is a good idea to keep moist and reduce weed competition.
 
Notes on cutting:  These are glorious for large arrangements and bouquets, and are extremely special as they are rare hard to come by for floristry.  Cut in the cool of the day and with just a few buds opening for best vase life.
