Description: Shorter and sturdier than traditional Delphinium varieties, 'Magic Fountains' are more wind resistant and need less support. Tall flower spikes in jewel tones in blue, purple lavender and rose are produced in early spring to summer.  
 
Notes on cutting: Cut in the cool of the morning when they are well hydrated and about a third to half of the flowers on the flower spike are open.  Condition in deep water and remember that they are very ethylene sensitive so keep away from the fruit bowl!
If you cut the entire stem to the ground when harvesting, or when they have finished flowering, this encourages secondary growth and possibly an autumn reflower.
